AS A CLIENT OF ROWAN RETREAT YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS. THESE POLICIES ARE IN PLACE FOR THE PROTECTION OF BOTH MYSELF AND MY CLIENTS. THANKYOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION AND UNDERSTANDING.
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
Rowan Retreat operates a 48 hour cancellation policy. Your beauty treatment appointment is reserved just for you. When appointments are missed or cancelled without sufficient notice, Rowan Retreat is often unable to fill the appointment slot at such short notice. I therefore ask that you please provide at least 48 hours in advance if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid cancellation charges. If you cancel your appointment without 48 hours notice then you will unfortunately incur a 50% charge of the reserved service amount. A txt or email will be automatically sent to invoice you. The account must be settled before any further bookings can be made. If you cancel within 12 hours of your appointment time then you will unfortunately incur a 100% charge of the reserved service amount. A txt or email will be automatically sent to invoice you. The account must be settled before any further bookings can be made. I totally understand that issues arise uncontrollably & I'm totally accepting of this, however I have a long waiting list for clients so letting me know in due cause enables me to offer the appointment to others. Cancelling and rescheduling appointments can only be done via phoning or txt message. We can not accept cancelling through social media as your message may get missed.
NO SHOWS
If you fail to turn up for your appointment without prior notification you will unfortunately incur a100% charge of the reserved service amount. The account must be settled before any further bookings can be made. Clients who have previously missed 2 or more appointments will be asked to pay a non refundable booking fee.
BOOKED TREATMENTS
If you book a series of treatments and on the day of your appointment you decide you dont wish to have all of them, unfortunately the cancelled appointments will need to be paid for as unfortunately I will not have the time to contact anybody to offer them the cancelled time slot.
LATE ARRIVAL
Rowan Retreat runs to a tight schedule and therefore cannot extend treatment times if you are late, as it would be unfair to impact on other clients appointment times. Failure to arrive on time to your appointment will lead to service alterations. We ask that you let us know if you are going to be late by phoning or txt message so we are aware. We have ample free parking for you at Rowan Retreat so you dont have to worry about finding a parking space. If you have booked multiple treatments and are too late for me to fit them all in you will be responsible for paying the excluded treatment. If you are too late for your appointment that none of your treatments can go ahead you will unfortunately be charged the total treatment cost.
PATCH TESTING
It is a legal requirement to ensure that each client is patch tested before they have a lash lift or lash/ brow tint. This must be done no more than 48 hours prior to your treatment. It is your responsibility to ensure that you book this in with us. If a patch test is not carried out prior to your treatment then the appointment unfortunately will be cancelled.
NAIL APPOINTMENTS
If you requre nail art please can you let me know at the time of booking as I will need additional time to do this. This is charged dependent on design choice
CHILDREN
It is unfortunate that we are no longer able to have children in the salon, unless they are having a treatment, this is due to the nature of our business and imposed Insurance legislations.
ALLERGIES & MEDICATION
We want to keep you safe, therefore please ensure that you advise us if you are allergic to any known products or are taking medication/under medical supervision prior to your treatment taking place. If you are pregnant- please advise us as we must ensure appropriate precautions are taken & the correct treatments are recommended to you. Rowan Retreat cannot be held responsible for any adverse reaction to a treatment if any condition has not been disclosed prior to treatment.
Please Note : To ensure clients' safety when carrying out certain treatments, doctor’s approval will be required for those with Epilepsy Circulatory Conditions, Autoimmune Diseases, Diabetes, Neuropathy or Cancer.
PREGNANCY
A GP or midwife letter must be available for Rowan Retreat stating that you are fit and well to have treatments. This letter needs to be provided at the time of the appointment and this letter will be kept on file. This is an Insurance request and I will not be able to treat any client who is pregnant without one.
CONTACTING ROWAN RETREAT
If you need to contact Rowan Retreat to either book or change an appointment or for treatment advice, please only do this using our email or phone number. You can whatsapp txt or ring. I have huge amounts of messages daily and facebook, instagram and Messenger are not always reliable and therefore your messages may be missed.
MOBILE PHONES
We kindly ask that you do not use your mobile phone whilst your treatments are taking place. They compromise the hygeine of treatment areas and the ability to adhere to treatment schedules. When nail appointments are being carried out we ask that you are considerate to the appointment, as trying to use mobile phones, reaching into your handbags etc can interfere with the longevity of your nails.
MODESTY
We will always respect your modesty, so there is no reason to be shy or concerned whilst having treatments. Towels are always draped discreetly over body parts that are not receiving the treatment so be assured that your modesty will be intact at all times & our aim is for you to feel both relaxed & comfortable throughout the treatment.
MINORS
Please note we will endeavour to take special steps to safeguard the privacy of children. Therefore any client's under the age of 16 are required to have Parental or Guardian consent, by way of a signed consultation form before any treatment is carried out. A guardian/parent must also be present at all times. Some of our treatments are not suitable for minors, therefore please ask at time of booking.
MASSAGE
Please Note we are professional beauty therapists not seedy masseuses! We have unfortunately experienced high amounts of inappropriate men phoning us for massage services that require 'extras', Please do not phone asking for this service as your request will be declined!.
DATA PROTECTION & OWNERSHIP OF RIGHTS
Rowan Retreat operates a strict Data Protection Policy. We will not pass any personal information you provide to any third party, except in cases of abuse through the contact form and/or attempts to create and publish websites containing copyrighted material from www.rowanretreat.co.uk. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, is prohibited without the written permission of Rowan Retreat. You may not modify, distribute or re-post anything on this website for any purpose. Those that unfortunately have done this have received a cease & desist letter from our solicitor for copyright infringement & in such cases information will be given to the appropriate law enforcement agencies. PRICES
We reserve the right to amend or modify the description or prices for individual treatments without prior notice. Any price changes will be reflected on this website. You will however always pay the price of the treatment as it was at the time of your booking!
