MANI & PEDI AFTERCARE

Life is Not Perfect But Your Hands & Feet Can Be!

Think how often we use our hands and feet and then put in perspective how much time we actually invest in them. We tend to forget that our poor feet hold our weight day in day out and our hands are used in virtually every activity we do. It is therefore important that we give them the little bit of TLC that they deserve. So here are some tips to help you on your way.

Aftercare

* Leave adequate time after your treatment to allow your nails to dry. Regular polish takes 20 mins to touch dry and 24 hours to harden

* To prolong the life of your polish wear gloves to perform any household or work-related chores

* Cut toenails straight across - never too short or with any sharp corners

* Don't forget to bring open toe shoes to wear home after your pedicure

* Use a basecoat to prevent staining of nails

* Use a topcoat to help protect polish

* Use the pads of your fingers instead of your nails, Nails are jewels not tools

* Massage Solar oil into the nail and cuticle twice daily

* Cotton socks with lashings of moisturiser worn overnight will keep feet soft and supple

* Keep nails to a workable length

* Do not use metal nail files

* Change socks or tights daily

* Use non-acetone varnish remover

* Use a foot file weekly to prevent hard skin build up

* Book in for regular Manicures and Pedicures for long term improvements to your nails
