Everybody sweats. It’s a normal function of how our bodies regulate temperature. However, people with hyperhidrosis produce sweat in amounts far greater than needed to control their temperature. Botoxtreatment is very effective, usually resulting in a 90% reduction in sweating that and can last for up to six months from just one treatment session. Botox is injected into the affected area which temporarily blocks chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands.
